Ford Model A

Here is this Friday's update, enjoy!

Check out those shiny new brake lines on that rear suspension. It sure is
going to be nice to have 4 wheel braking.

That's the freshly overhauled C-4 Ford 3 speed automatic transmission.
That's the stock torque converter on the bottom and all I did
was add a shift kit to the overhaul for firmer shifting. The overhaul shop
said that the tranny was 75% obstructed with gunk so it's a
wonder it worked at all.

This is the rearend going under the car for final adjustment and assembly

Bill decided that it might be nice to sweep the floor under the car so we wouldn't
be crawling around in dirt. I was happy to oblige and take a picture.

Dave came out today and decided to take a turn with the broom. Of course I
had to wield the camera again.

This is what a radius rod suspension looks like when it's painted and bolted all
together. Pretty cool eh?

This is what it all looks like when it's all bolted together under the car.

Here is the tranny all bolted in. We're fabricating a new mount for the
rear of the transmission because the original mount was pretty weak.

Bill has been busy when I'm not there working on the new interior. You can
see all the new wood panels installed that Bill will attach
the new fabric to.
